Even if personal ambitions (Borloo, Morin, Arthuis ...) are legitimate, I feel today the grassroots centrist willing to make the union of the centers ... The New Center, and the Centrist Alliance Radical Party should be able to look ahead all (François Bayrou has taken a different direction!).
In any case, what has "leaked" from my day yesterday. For lunch with the Young Centrists Midi-Pyrenees, it seemed that for the most novice of us, dialogue with other centrist formations is now current ... At least the will is there! Certainly! In the evening, the "New Center 31" was invited to "Workshops Radicals in Midi-Pyrenees. And again ... same speech, including the member Hénart Lawrence (Secretary General of the Radical Party) ... Therefore, in my view, "positive" our non-representation (Or near) the government to balance our presidential majority. A confederation (as was the fire and UDF Giscard Leotard) seems the best solution (it would allow each component to protect his identity).
All these are possible only on two conditions: 1 / that the Radical Party is no longer affiliated to the UMP (while still in the majority) 2 / that the Centre in its diversity is a presidential candidate ( a political party can not exist in our system, without participating in this term).
With a strong center, the presidential majority may be "dam" to DSK, Aubry et al!
I want to point out the excellent evening given by the Radicals, with presentations on the theme "Democracy and development in the territories."
